My week in numbers:

1 1/2lbs off

4 runs (including 1 parkrun)

1 body pump class

1 body conditioning class

1 zumba class

My week in words:

You could have knocked me down with a feather when I stepped on those scales.  I was convinced that I had gained weight.  Real life meant I missed aqua and metafit and it also meant I went out for three meals.  Yes three!  So I was convinced that I had gained weight.

Whether it’s a reprieve for one week only, I don’t know.  But I did stick to the plan for the rest of the time and haven’t indulged in treats apart from the meals out.  And I did what I could in terms of exercise.  So I will see next week, but what amazes me the most is that I am gymming and slimming in December!

All the best,

My Week in words:

Pleased again with another weight loss and keeping up with the exercise regime.  I planned to do aqua but the class was cancelled which was a shame but I certainly worked hard in the other classes, especially body conditioning and metafit.  However with lots of events and Christmassy things occurring, I know that there may be some not great numbers to come in the next few weeks!!

My week in words

I am obviously pleased about my weight loss but this week I am very excited about the fact I have done so much exercise.  it’s the first time I have done five classes in a week and after last week’s stress-fest at work, it felt brilliant.  My mileage has been increasing too and I ran a solid (although windswept) parkrun.  So happy days!

Hope you have had a good week too.

Stayed the same

1 Bodypump class

1 zumba class

3 runs

My week in words:

Not the greatest week with regard to exercise due to pressures at work.  And food wise it was ok.  My shoes are fab and am running longer stances more consistently (relative of course!).  And I really missed my other classes.  I am really hoping that I can do a full house this week and keep on with the healthy eating.  On the plus side I have had several people commenting on my weight loss, which is a real boost.  So Yey!

My week in words:

Another good week.  I wasn’t expecting a loss as I was out on Friday evening, and although I tried to make good choices, you never know how it will effect you. getting more consistency with my exercise and the healthy eating is going well. And I have had several people comment on my weight loss, which always is a boost.  Just want more of the same as we head to the new year.

3 runs (including 1 big fat run)

1 zumba class

1 circuits class

2 aqua aerobics classes

My week in words:

I’d take that.  As explained in my previous post, I have had two meals out and one day baking (and eating!) gorgeous things!  But I managed to clamber back on the wagon quickly and kept up with my exercise routine.  It has made me more determined to lose weight next week and keep to what I am doing.

My week in words:

How can I not be pleased as the weight loss seems to be catching up with how I feel?  Winning slimmer of the week was good too!  I do think the weight is affected by whether I run before or not, and from next week I’ll mark it (pre or post run) so I can keep track.  I am psyching myself up for next week and half term, a change to my routine and after that it’s full steam to Christmas, and trying to shift some more lard.

My week in words;

The lateness of this post is nothing to do with disappointment or anger like last week, but being busy taking the children to a swimming gala all weekend.  The weight loss: meh.  I am back to where I was two weeks ago despite all the effort and hard work I have put in.  Ho hum.  I am definitely taking the long game approach and keep telling myself that while I am doing the right things, good things will happen.  And I am going to try and focus on other marks of progress, such as looser clothes and increasing weights at Body Pump rather than a number on the scales.

Hope your week was good.

My week in words:

The headline figure and the fact it has taken me a day to write this entry tells you all you need to know. Disappointment, annoyed, bemused are three of the emotions I have felt.  I feel like it’s a case of “Déjà vu all over again!”

Other than a meal at my mother in laws (and we are talking pie and chips and ice cream and meringue, not an enormous 5 course meal) I have been on track with exercise and diet.  I feel better.  I look better.  It’s just a shame when the scales say otherwise.  And it’s harder and harder to keep the positive mind set needed, as well as the long term view when every other week is a setback.  But I must, if I want to achieve a healthy, fitter body.  So let’s remind myself that:

My week in words:

As you can imagine I am much happier this week than last.  As my consultant said “The scales owed you and they paid up”.  And that’s what it felt like.  I was as in control last week as I was last, I still love the exercise regime I am doing and even did conditioning followed by zumba for a 2 hour session!  I felt it was due to me.  It is so nice when this happens but as I alluded to last week when setbacks happen it can be hard to keep yourself on track.  So if it’s you, please take heart.  Good things come to those who try!

(And the best part of the weigh in?  Not me losing 6lbs, not me getting my 1 ½ stone sticker, but my friend losing 4lbs.  You go D! Chuffed for you!)
